魚菜共生Aquaponics系統，利用魚類的廢棄物作為水培植物的天然養分，跟水耕完全不同，這裡的水不需要加營養劑和其他化學肥料，植物再將淨化的水回饋魚缸，打造零污染、資源循環的永續環境

Taiwan’s Largest Aquaponics Lettuce Farm Thrives on Galilee Prayer Mountain

TAINAN, TAIWAN – On the picturesque 20-hectare expanse of Galilee Prayer Mountain, one of Tainan’s most beloved spiritual and natural landmarks, a bold vision is quietly flourishing. In 2022, Ms. Fiyeon Chik answered a divine calling to create a farm that mirrors the purity and harmony of the Garden of Eden — and the result is Yes Farm, Taiwan’s largest aquaponics-based lettuce farm.

Built on a foundation of faith and sustainability, the 620-ping (approx. 20,500 square feet) greenhouse farm uses an aquaponics system — a closed-loop method that transforms fish waste into natural nutrients for plants, while the plants, in turn, purify the water for the fish. This chemical-free, eco-friendly farming technique produces crisp, fresh, and safe-to-eat lettuce, now available for purchase.

“I’m deeply grateful to all the lettuce lovers who continue to support us,” says Ms. Chik, who modeled the farm after Eden-like natural cultivation methods.

Free Tours and a Spiritual Day Trip Destination

Yes Farm is now open for guided tours, welcoming schools, families, organizations, and eco-curious travelers to come experience aquaponics farming up close — completely free of charge with a reservation.

Galilee Prayer Mountain is also home to several peaceful and photogenic landmarks, making it an ideal destination for spiritual reflection and family outings. Visitors can:

• Explore the tranquil Prayer Caves inside the Galilee Prayer Chapel

• Visit the beautifully crafted Driftwood Ark Church
